General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) is a mobile data services available to the mobile users espacilly to the GSM(Global System for Mobile Communications ).It Provides data transfer from the internet to your mobiles phones.It works in a bidirectional concept(ie)User can Upload and Download.The Data Transmission Speed for the GPRS is nearly 56 to 114 Kilo bits per sec.Gprs can be used for differrent types of services such as Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) access, Short Message Service (SMS), Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS), and for Internet communication services such as email and World Wide Web access.Gprs is originally supported by Internet Protocol (IP), Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) and X.25 connections.There are three types of capability classes in Gprs are(class a,b,c).All these necessary classes are used for the particular services operations.The Gprs makes the man to move whereever you need.The mobiles can be connected with the pc or laptop through the bluetooth dongle or data cable through that we can access the Internet in our way of move.
